Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the ProjEvo platform and services, including by your team members, the clients you invite, and anyone using your account. You are responsible for ensuring all such use complies with this AUP.

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right
• Send spam, unsolicited or deceptive communications
• Distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account or data
• Interfere with, disrupt or overload the Service, its infrastructure or its providers
• Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system without authorization
• Harvest or collect information about others without consent
• Infringe intellectual-property rights or misappropriate confidential information
• Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative, including any content that sexualizes or endangers minors
• Engage in fraud, phishing or impersonation

Messaging features may be used only for direct, one-to-one conversational communication within an existing business relationship. You may not send marketing blasts, bulk or automated unsolicited messages, or messages to people with whom you have no business relationship, and you must comply with the TCPA and Twilio's Acceptable Use and Messaging Policies. ProjEvo may provide your organization with platform email, powered by our email subprocessor (Postmark), for sending email from the platform. Platform Email is for transactional and relationship messages only — account, billing, support, project and system notifications within an existing business relationship.

You may not use Platform Email to send marketing, promotional, bulk or unsolicited email; newsletters or marketing campaigns; cold outreach; or any message to recipients with whom you have no established business relationship. You must not send content that generates excessive spam complaints, bounces or abuse reports, and you must honor unsubscribe and complaint signals where they apply.

We monitor sending reputation and may throttle, suspend or revoke Platform Email — and may suspend or terminate your account — for misuse. Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.

Hosting features operate on servers you connect and control. You are responsible for the lawful operation of those servers and of any WordPress sites, domains and content you manage through ProjEvo. You may not use connected infrastructure to host or distribute malware, run unlawful content, send spam, mine cryptocurrency without authorization, or consume resources in a way that harms shared infrastructure or other users. You must keep credentials secure and promptly remediate security issues we surface.

AI features must not be used to generate unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing content, to attempt to bypass safety measures, or in violation of the terms of the underlying AI providers. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on or sending it.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or disable features without prior notice where we believe this AUP has been violated or to protect the Service, our users or third parties. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities. Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.
